Jazz por la Identidad

15th October 2009
1

Jazz por la Identidad is organised by the Abuelas de la Plaza de Mayo, alongside the Café Cultura project.

Every Wednesday of October at 9.30pm, Cafe Vinilio (Gorriti 3780) will be hosting jazz music performed by an array of artists. The aim is to provide a creative and comfortable atmosphere in which people can join in to reach towards the ongoing goals of the Abuelas, as they continue their search for grandchildren who were disappeared during the dictatorship. The Abuelas also aim to use the mode of jazz music as a means for people to explore the notion of their identity, notably as they strive to convince their grandchildren of their true identities after years of doubt.

Entrance is free.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
