This morning secretary general of the Union of Workers and Employees of Income Horizontal (Suterh), Victor Santa Maria, confirmed that Interaction ART lent $12million to the ‘Madres de Plaza de Mayo’ which has not been paid back in time.
Earlier this month the union decided to terminate the contract with the ‘Madres de Plaza de Mayo’ due to massive debt of the organisation. ART interaction insured the workers who were involved in the housing projects of Hebe Bonafine, head of the ‘Madres de Plaza de Mayo’.
The union confirmed the payment reminder. They also announced that the claim against the ‘Madres de Plaza de Mayo’ is one of 19 current claims. The union intends to continue the work with the human rights organization.
